Operations Manager

THE POSITION:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee Operations team which includes PM Team and Solar Squad
  • Responsible for revenue and project forecasting once projects are transferred
  • Oversee invoicing and job payments.
  • Management of PM's tasks, project pipelines and bandwidth & manage projects when needed.
  • Prep & run the operations meeting
  • Assist with vetting install teams and subcontractors
  • Deliver key metrics to leadership and provide feedback loop on key metrics, issues, and opportunities that arise.
  • Responsible for managing the schedule for projects assigned to you and leading your assigned projects through the PM pipeline stages Other responsibilities can include:
  • Communicate with clients for onboarding, project scheduling and other related communication that is needed
  • Working with PM assistants/solar designer to determine project permitting requirements and working with towns and city departments in order to get projects through the permitting process
  • Help facilitate with the site assessor the collection of the structural information needed to send to our 3rd party structural engineering team for approval and/or coordinate with an engineer who can collect the information on site
  • Assist and oversee plan sets or submit plans for drafting of plans with our 3rd party team(s)
  • Complete your assigned project’s bill of materials and order project equipment.
  • Schedule installs with subcontracting teams and manage install for your projects
  • Assist when needed project’s utility interconnection applications and submit to the appropriate utility
  • Help manage inventory
  • Coordinate and set up inspections when needed for project approval and permission to operate
  • Take delivery of equipment when needed. Bring equipment to and from job sites when needed and manage trash removal when needed
  • Issue subcontractor agreements on a per project basis
  • Help with completing final state project paperwork along with making sure all project close out documentation is completed
  • Coordinating with team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budget
  • Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Facilitating communication between sales team, installation team, local permit offices, distributors, and customers in order to install a quality system
  • Managing a multitude of different phases of projects, and easily transition from one task to another

  • 401K - employees can start contributing upon employment. PurePoint matches up to 4% after one year of employment.
  • Mileage reimbursement - PurePoint has a transit fleet for their employees; however, should you need to use your own vehicle to travel on company business, you will be reimbursed for mileage. The mileage is calculated using the yearly standard IRS mileage rate. The reimbursement occurs the following month (IE: January reimbursement = February payout).

Operations Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Assistant position reports directly to the Operations Manager, with the primary responsibility assisting with project transfers and closeouts, including completing vendor paperwork, executing on permit & utility interconnection application submissions and overseeing those stages in the project. Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Updating and putting together user manuals for new clients
  • Helping with project incentive paperwork of various kinds
  • Scheduling inspections and site visit/service call appointments
  • Data entry and activity management in CRM
  • Reviewing existing system monitoring platforms, updating production spreadsheets and analyzing system data to determine if issues exist
  • Help file reports for O&M visits
  • Assisting the Solar Squad department at times with scheduling.
  • Tracking and project updating to make sure all processes are complete
  • Follow up with vendors, clients, etc.
  • Taking on or assisting with various internal projects as assigned on the operations side of the business
  • Discerning and maintaining confidential information
  • Prioritizing tasks and projects with constantly changing deadlines and expectations

Commercial Solar Business Development Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Self-generate commercial solar leads through B2B, and identify strategic partnership opportunities
  • Develop a pipeline of qualified commercial prospects
  • Generate leads at marketing events and trade shows
  • Use the Company’s CRM, Pipedrive.com, to navigate from the lead generation to the hand off to project management.
  • Map out decision making process early in an engagement, establish and maintain a close working relationship at the decision making level
  • Follow up on warm organic leads by phone and email and qualify prospects
  • Listen to our prospect’s needs and wants
  • Articulate and deliver the full economic, strategic, and environmental value represented by the PurePoint Energy and SunPower partnership.
  • Deliver proposals and execute sales appointment (virtual and in person)
  • Address concerns, doubts, and hesitation (Objections) with prospects to help them move forward in the sales process
  • Ensure that every communication and customer touch point ends on a positive note
  • Actively seek referrals and introductions to networks of business owners such as LinkedIn groups, Meetup.com groups, or user group meetings
  • Coordinate with financing partners and customers to get solar project approvals
  • Meet sales goals and milestones
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to celebrate wins, learn, stay accountable and solve the most pressing challenges and focus on the biggest opportunities in front of us
  • Expand upon solar knowledge with advanced tools and creative solutions

HOURS, COMPENSATION + BENEFITS

Total Compensation like most sales jobs will be based on performance. Our expectation is that once you’re up and running, you will average $1 million per quarter and hit $4 million per year.

  • Base Salary + Commission
  • Earning potential: $110,000 - $250,000 based on hitting sales targets
  • Benefits include: Paid time off, health insurance, 401k, mileage reimbursement, training and working at a great company while making the planet a better place!
  • There is not a cap on compensation
