Commercial Solar Business Development Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

HOURS, COMPENSATION + BENEFITS:
Total Compensation like most sales jobs will be based on performance. Our expectation is that once you’re up and running, you will average $1 million per quarter and hit $4 million per year.
This position is onsite, in the office but also requires field work. We have awesome co-workers and company culture. We host team off-site activities, including, volleyball, yoga, ball games, and other celebrations!

Sales Operations Manager

THE POSITION:
PurePoint Energy is currently searching for a Sales Operations Manager. You are someone who loves to manage people. You are a coach, mentor and bring out the best in people. You thrive at setting goals and helping people achieve their goals. You run our sales meetings and have your finger on the Key Sales and Marketing Indicators to build on what works and evolve what doesn’t work. Your integrity cannot be compromised. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of combined solar sales/management experience required
- Exceptional sales and/or business development experience
- Reliable car for transportation
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills/attention to detail
- Motivated by career advancement, high-income potential, and making a positive impact in their community
- Experience holding team accountable
- Experience dealing with team members who are not meeting company standards / goals
- Experience building a team
- Accountable that projects are sold to meet company profitability targets
- Teach skills to self-generate appointments in addition to some verified appointments
- Ensure the sales team keeps in touch with all of their clients and closes their leads in a timely manner
- Be accountable for marketing and branding results
- Sales and marketing budgets and results
- Keep up to date with our financing options and train the sales team on how to fit a customer for the best financing options for them
- Developing a strong sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education
- Assist with the recruiting of team members
- Ensure that each team member in your department is the right person in the right seat – they hit their metrics and share our core values.
- Set sales goals for team and assure they achieve them
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team
- Update Key Sales Indicators Weekly
- Run a weekly sales meeting
- Have development meetings weekly with direct reports
- Build and document systems
- Track and build habits
- Continually recruit and maintain 5 star sales people
- Maintain and build your own book of commercial and industrial accounts in addition to managing the sales force

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to work 40+ hours a week
- Valid Driver’s License

Benefits:
The following benefits become available after the employee’s 90 day probationary period has ended- Medical coverage - fully paid for employees
- Dental & Vision coverage - voluntary to all employees
- Vacation days - up to four weeks depending on years of service, with the ability of rolling over five days to the next year. For an employee that on boards in January, two weeks of vacation time will be available after the probationary period.
- Personal days - two days per year
- Sick days - three days per year
- Eight paid holidays per year
- Summer Hours on Fridays - starting on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and ending the Friday of Labor Day weekend, the office will close at 1 pm. Work permitting, employees will work four hours and be paid for the other four. Note: Employees understand that if there are deadlines to meet, they must be completed even if you have to work more than four hours. The following benefits are available immediately
- 401K - employees can start contributing upon employment. PurePoint matches up to 4% after one year of employment.
- Mileage reimbursement - PurePoint has a transit fleet for their employees, however should you need to use your own vehicle to travel on company business, and you will be reimbursed for mileage. The mileage is calculated using the yearly standard IRS mileage rate. The reimbursement occurs the following month (IE: January reimbursement = February payout).
